The biggest e-sports main event is about to kick off and the Dota 2 International now has its full roster of teams ready to battle for the Aegis of Champions.<\/p>

The Last Chance Qualifies have ended and there were some amazing matches, but in the end only 2 teams made it out alive to be in with a chance to lift the Aegis.<\/p>

<\/p>

This year's International will be the first occasion where the main event is played out on two different venues: the Playoffs at Suntec Singapore followed by the Finals at Singapore Indoor Stadium. <\/span>20 teams will be split into two groups of ten, playing a round-robin best-of-two. From here, the top four teams will proceed to the upper bracket, the next four teams to the lower bracket and the bottom two teams will be eliminated. The lower bracket kicks off with a best-of-one and all other series will be the classic best-of-three, all the way up to the grand final which is a best-of-five. The winner lifting the coveted Aegis of Champions.<\/p>

It all kicks off this Saturday, 15th October and the group stages will run until the 18th October.<\/p>

The playoffs will be played from 20th - 23rd October and after a 6 day, and well deserved, break the finals will hit the main stage on 29th and 30th October.<\/p>

As it stands the prize pool is just shy of $14 million. This will continue to rise until the grand final but there is no sign of it reaching the TI10 total of $40 million. I\u2019m sure the winning team will still be happy though.<\/p>
